Music for the next generation!

We’re participating at the competition M4NG (music for next generation)

With the song “Manon” inspired by G. Puccini’s “Intermezzo” (Atto 3) from the opera “Manon Lescaut”! You can listen to it by clicking the link below

With this song we wanted to capture the melancholy and the longing of the lovestory between Manon and De Grieux, who were both brought to Australia into a penal colony and died in the Outback during a flight attempt. The Finale brings back some hope, using the “hope-theme” (which was also used by John Williams in Star Wars). In this case it represents the hope of two unconventional lovers to live their life (or death) together.
