New Single: Reverie

Do you want to escape from the busy reality sometimes? Do you want to disappear in the woods and find peace? This song describes the desire to escape to another realm, far away from the everyday buzz and anxiety:

I heard a tune far from the woods
I startled in my rush
For a longing stroke my heart
To flee from all this buzz

A voice in the wind
Tempts me to drop everything
A pure scent drives me away
Leads my mind astray
Leads my mind astray

To the trees, to the merry brook
My feet want me to go
For this wild song cast a lure
To escape the maddening world

A voice in the wind
Tempts me to drop everything
A pure scent drives me away
Leads my mind astray
Leads my mind astray

New single: The butterfly

Enjoy our latest release: a rearranged version of the Irish traditional/Tommy Potts fiddle tune “The butterfly”! Originally the tune is a “slip jig”, a common Irish stepdance.

It has a gentle vibe and invites to a lighthearted dance. The guitar leads with the melody, while the alto-recorder accompanies it with a second line and later on in the song the harp comes in and brings even more “Irish” flavour to it. Not to forget the steady beating Djembe, the light Kajon-strokes and the crisp bells. Some merry vocals (“Damdidamdidai“) complement the song.

Ostara – New Single & Video

In this song, Ostara is an entity that personificates the season of spring, the awakening of nature, the constant flow and evolution of time, nature itself. In modern pagan culture, Ostara (or Eostre) is the germanic goddess of spring, dawn and fertility. Her most prominent symbols are the hare and eggs. Ostara (Spring Equinox) is also the second of three spring festivals in the wiccan calendar.

The lyrics of the song derive from a poem written by Madison Cawein (“Penetralia”) and adapted to the music:

I am a part of all you see
A part of all you feel
I am the quiver of the bee
Upon the blossom; in the tree
I am the sap, that shall reveal
The leaf, the bloom – that flows and flutes
Up from the darkness through its roots

I am the seed within the pod
The worm within its closed cocoon
The wings within its circling clod
The germ, that gropes through soil and sod
The music of the blossom’s bell
When soft winds swing it and the sound
Of grass creeping over the ground

I am a part of all you see
I am a part of all you feel

The main instruments of the song are piano, classical guitar, voice, alto recorder and various percussions. The music is inspired by impressionistic bursts, pagan folk hues and elven choir hints.

The song is available on various digital platforms such as Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, ecc.
